Today we want to thank UCLA School of Nursing Alumni Ana Ramos, RN '01. Here is her story as featured by our friends at the UCLA School of Nursing.
Ana Ramos '10 works as a registered nurse at St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. She is currently caring for COVID-19 patients who are in critical condition. Like many, she chose to move out of her home to avoid exposing her 15-month old son. Despite the fear and challenges ahead, she is thankful to work in a supportive environment with peers who uplift each other everyday.
“As hard as it is to be away from my son, I know that there is a need and I am here to help any way I can."
