Bonnie Fang was a nurse whose compassion extended beyond the patients she served. She believed in supporting others, creating opportunities, and helping pave the way for future nurses.

In her honor, the Bonnie Fang Foundation provides nursing scholarships to students who demonstrate academic achievement, compassion, integrity, leadership, financial need, and a commitment to serving their communities.

Our scholarship program is about more than financial support. We seek to invest in nursing students who reflect the values that guided Bonnie's life and who share our belief in the power of nursing to strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

2027 Nursing Scholarship

Applications open September 15, 2026 and close December 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

The Bonnie Fang Foundation may award one $5,000 California Nursing Scholarship and one $5,000 Nevada Nursing Scholarship during the 2027 scholarship cycle. Awards are contingent upon applicants meeting the Foundation's established eligibility and selection criteria.

Scholarship recipients also become Bonnie Fang Foundation Student Ambassadors, creating opportunities to remain engaged with the Foundation and the nursing community through service, community involvement, Foundation activities, and meaningful connection.
