Thank You to Our Heroes!

Luis Sandoval, RN '01. M.S.N. '08

Luis Sandoval works in the intensive care unit at Ronald Reagan #UCLA Medical Center. As a kid, he would walk across campus to the UCLA Lab School where he attended elementary school. Sandoval became a registered nurse after graduating from the Masters Entry Clinical Nurse program at @uclanursing and is proud to be able to continue his nursing career at @uclahealth. Lately he has been working multiple extra shifts and caring for #COVID19 patients, testing them, ruling them out from being infected or caring for them.

"When you are sick, you're vulnerable. It no longer matters if you're rich or poor. The true you comes out. I enjoy being there for anyone that needs help."

Thank you, Luis. You are a true hero and we are grateful for you and all those on the front lines, especially at this time.
