The Bonnie Fang Foundation Nurses Rock Community Ambassador Program brings together passionate, community-minded individuals who believe in the power of running, connection, and giving back.

Our Community Ambassadors are more than race promoters—they are champions for community, kindness, and the future of nursing. They help us welcome runners of every pace and experience level, share the Nurses Rock story, build meaningful connections within their communities, and advance the Bonnie Fang Foundation's mission of supporting future nurses through scholarships and community outreach.

Whether you're a longtime runner, active in a local run club, passionate about volunteering, or simply someone who loves bringing people together for a meaningful cause, we'd love to hear from you.

What Is a Nurses Rock Community Ambassador?

Nurses Rock Community Ambassadors serve as positive representatives of the Bonnie Fang Foundation and Nurses Rock throughout the Ambassador term.

Ambassadors help introduce new people to Nurses Rock, build connections and engage with local running, fitness, and community organizations, support Foundation activities, share authentic content, and help create the welcoming and inclusive environment that defines our events.

The 2026–2027 Ambassador term runs from October 2026 through May 2027, culminating with the 2027 Nurses Rock 5K/10K.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to be the fastest runner or have thousands of social media followers to be a great Nurses Rock Community Ambassador.

We're looking for people who:

Have a positive, encouraging, and welcoming attitude.
Enjoy connecting with others and building community.
Believe in the Bonnie Fang Foundation's mission and values.
Are excited to inspire runners of all abilities.
Have an active social media presence or are actively involved in their local running or fitness community.
Are dependable, collaborative, and willing to contribute ideas and constructive feedback.
Lead with kindness, integrity, and enthusiasm.

What We Ask of Our Ambassadors

Serving as a Nurses Rock Community Ambassador is an active role. Before applying, we want you to understand the commitment and make sure the program is a good fit for you.

During the Ambassador term, ambassadors are expected to:

Represent the Bonnie Fang Foundation and Nurses Rock in a positive, respectful, and professional manner.
Participate in the 2027 Nurses Rock 5K/10K and share their training and race journey.
Share a minimum of three original Nurses Rock and/or Bonnie Fang Foundation-related social media posts per month.
Actively engage with and help amplify relevant BFF and Nurses Rock social media content.
Promote Nurses Rock and encourage new participants to join our community using their personalized ambassador referral code.
Represent BFF and Nurses Rock at local races, run club meetups, expos, and community events.
Help support the Bonnie Fang Foundation's fundraising efforts during the Ambassador term.
Participate in Ambassador Team meetings and stay informed throughout the Ambassador term.
Support BFF events, outreach, volunteer opportunities, and community activations when requested.
Welcome and encourage participants of all paces and experience levels.
Wear Nurses Rock apparel whenever possible when representing the program and help celebrate our community partners by wearing or using partner products when provided.
Support fellow ambassadors and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

What Ambassadors Receive

As a thank-you for their commitment and participation, Community Ambassadors may receive:

One complimentary entry to the 2027 Nurses Rock 5K/10K.
Nurses Rock apparel and event merchandise.
A personalized ambassador referral/discount code.
Early access to select Nurses Rock announcements, reveals, and promotions.
Opportunities to be recognized or featured on Bonnie Fang Foundation social media channels.

A Note About Sponsor Products

From time to time, BFF community partners may provide products or special opportunities for members of our Ambassador Team.

These opportunities are not guaranteed and may be limited based on product availability, Ambassador participation or achievement, and/or sponsor-specific criteria.

Ambassadors who receive partner products may be asked to appropriately support and acknowledge the participating partner and follow applicable sponsor guidelines.
